I didn't go looking for sound healing. If anything, I avoided it — sound baths used to trigger my migraines. But in 2016 I was guided to purchase a crystal bowl, and my community rallied. They pooled their money together and encouraged me to buy the full set of seven and teach a meditation class. So I did. I picked up the bowls and began to play — intuitively, without formal training — and something remarkable happened: for the first time, the sound didn't hurt. It healed.
That is how I know this work chose me. And that is the energy I bring to teaching it.

No previous experience is required. What is required is a genuine readiness to show up, go deep, and do the work.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
Most sound healing courses teach you technique. This one initiates you as a Somatic Energy Healer first. The bowls come second.
As a Filipina American mystic and lineage-trained healer with over thirty years of practice, I bring more than instruction to this training. I bring energetic activations, intuitive guidance, and a lineage rooted in Q'ero Andean wisdom and Filipino Babaylan healing traditions. My deep belief is that every person who comes to this work already carries the gifts they need. My role is to help you access them, trust them, and use them alongside the practical skills of sound healing.
Every session is personalized and one-on-one. You are not a student in a crowd. You are the only person I'm focused on, and that changes everything about how fast you grow and how deeply you integrate what you learn.

WHAT THIS TRAINING IS
This is a six-week, one-on-one initiation into somatic energy healing and sound. You'll be initiated as a Somatic Energy Healer, learn to channel healing frequencies through your own presence and intention, and use crystal singing bowls as one of your many tools.
By the time you graduate, you won't just know how to lead a sound bath. You'll know how to hold space for deep energetic and emotional healing, with or without an instrument in your hands. Because the truth is, you are the medicine. The bowls are how you broadcast it.
Sessions are held one-on-one at Kapwa Wellness in San Ramon. Each session runs 2 to 2.5 hours and is fully tailored to you, your gifts, your healing path, and where you are in the process.
THE POWER OF SOUND
Sound healing is one of the oldest healing practices in the world — and modern science is beginning to understand why it works. Everything in the universe vibrates at specific frequencies, including our bodies. When those vibrations fall out of sync — through stress, trauma, or emotional weight — it can manifest as tension, anxiety, discomfort, or illness.
Sound healing uses the vibrations of instruments like crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, and chimes to gently restore that natural harmony. The resonant frequencies of crystal bowls encourage the brain to slow into deeper states — Alpha, Theta, and Delta waves — associated with deep relaxation and meditation. Because our bodies are mostly liquid, these sound waves penetrate deeply, moving through tissue and cellular memory, releasing what has been held.
You don't need to know how to meditate. You don't need any experience at all. The sound gives your mind something to rest on — and the healing happens from there.
