What I'll teach you was not mine to begin with. It was given to me by Q'ero elders in Peru. By a mystic elder in Bolivia. By Babaylan healers in the Philippines. By teachers here in the US who saw what I carried before I fully saw it myself.
I received it with humility and have carried it with integrity for over 30 years. Now I pass it forward.

WHERE THIS COMES FROM
Maria Haswell has spent over 30 years studying, sitting with, and being initiated by teachers across four traditions.
In Peru, she sat with Q'ero elders and received the Munay Ki and Karpay initiations directly from lineage holders in the Andean medicine path.
In Bolivia, she studied with a mystic elder whose teachings deepened her understanding of energy, ceremony, and the unseen world.
In the Philippines, she connected with Babaylan healers and her own ancestral roots — reclaiming the Filipino healing traditions that had been suppressed for generations.
Here in the US, she has been guided by teachers who recognized her gifts and helped her develop them into a practice that now serves hundreds of clients across the Bay Area and beyond.
What she teaches in The Mystic's Path is not a curriculum she designed. It is a living lineage she carries — and now passes forward to those who are called.
THIS IS NOT A COURSE. IT IS AN INITIATION
Over 6 months, you'll be taught, mentored, and initiated into the Sacred Healing Arts by Maria Haswell — a Filipina American mystic, ceremonialist, and lineage holder trained across four traditions.
You'll learn to facilitate 1:1 healing sessions and lead group ceremonies. You'll receive the Munay Ki and Karpay initiations from the Andean tradition. You will be taught the despacho ceremony, tawas, and suob from the Filipino tradition. You'll develop your intuitive gifts under Maria's direct mentorship and emerge with the confidence, the tools, and the lineage to offer this work to others.
This cannot be learned online. It requires your presence, your commitment, and a genuine calling.
Maria accepts a maximum of 3 students per cohort.
She reviews every application personally and accepts only those she feels genuinely called to initiate.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Each month builds on the last. Nothing is skipped. Nothing is rushed.
MONTH 1 — WHO YOU ARE AS A HEALER
Before you can hold space for others, you must know what you carry. We begin with your healing story, your gifts named and claimed, and your initiation into sacred space and spirit allies.
MONTH 2 — THE LANGUAGE OF ENERGY
Energy speaks before words do. You'll learn to read what you feel — in people, in spaces, in objects. You'll develop the discernment to know the difference between imagination and intuition. And you will learn to give yourself grace for the learning curve.
MONTH 3 — THE ART OF HOLDING SPACE
The healer's most important skill is not technique. It is presence. You'll learn to hold space for another person's release without taking it on. To sit in silence. To allow. To be the container that keeps someone safe while they go somewhere deep.
MONTH 4 — THE SACRED ARTS
This is the heart of the initiation. You'll receive the Munay Ki and Karpay initiations from the Andean tradition. You'll be taught the despacho ceremony in its traditional form and encouraged to develop your own expression of it. You'll learn tawas and suob from the Filipino healing tradition. You will learn the ethics of carrying lineage across cultures.
MONTH 5 — FACILITATION IN PRACTICE
You have been held. Now you learn to hold. You will facilitate your first complete 1:1 healing session and your first group ceremony with Maria present and giving real feedback. You will shadow Maria at Kapwa Wellness public events. You'll discover what it means to step into your power when you feel uncertain.
MONTH 6 — THE GRADUATE
You came as a student. You leave as a healer. We'll review your full arc together, name your gifts publicly, and complete the initiation with a personalized graduation ceremony. You will lead your own ceremony for Maria as your first act as a graduate. You will receive your Certificate of Completion from Kapwa Wellness — and Maria's personal blessing for the path ahead.

One payment before your first session $5,000
Two Payments $2,500 before your first session $2,500 on Day 1 Total: $5,000
Monthly Plan $1,000 per month for 6 months Total: $6,000
Upon successful completion of all 6 months you will receive a Certificate of Completion signed by Maria Haswell and stamped with Kapwa Wellness.
The Mystic's Path does not certify you as a licensed therapist or medical practitioner. It initiates you into the Sacred Healing Arts lineage of Maria Haswell.
