What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to assist people in improving their lives. Hypnotherapy is a two way process between the therapist and the client. What hypnotherapists do is, by definition, therapeutic.

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind. When in hypnosis you feel very relaxed, just like that wonderful feeling when you are lying in your bed and you are so overcome with comfort that you wish the moment could last awhile.

Through simple hypnotic and relaxation techniques, you easily attain a state at which time becomes easy to visualize yourself becoming healthier, happier, more confident, or whatever it is that you want to be!

In Hypnotherapy

You are in control: It's not possible for a client in hypnosis to do anything they don't want to do. Clients make the decisions and decide what they wish to say or do.

You are not unconscious or asleep: You will remember everything in the session. The session will feel relaxed and comfortable. You are aware of your surroundings.

You may not feel different: Everyone has a different experience with hypnosis. Clients usually feel very relaxed, refreshed, and sometimes airy after their session. Some may not feel anything instantly, but keep in mind that a healing process has begun. Some clients discover that one session is enough; others choose to come back for additional sessions, in order to feel that the healing process is complete.

You will never be asked to cluck like a chicken: You will never be asked to do anything like that in hypnotherapy. A person cannot be hypnotized unless he or she agrees and co-operates. Even those people on television or stage clucking like chickens are doing it because they want to! They have chosen to participate. There's absolutely no personal healing value in trying to make someone look silly or make it look as though the hypnotist has power over another. That is not how I work.

Almost everyone can be hypnotized: If clients are open, ready, and willing to be hypnotized, then it can be done. I will never force anyone to do something they are not ready to do.

You will always "Wake Up": You aren't asleep in the session. Your conscious mind is still alert, although in a "neutral" state. You simply can't "get stuck" in trance.

If at any time a client feels uncomfortable and want to terminate the session, they will be perfectly capable of doing so.

Be Colorful: Your subconscious mind works very well with images, suggestions, visualizations, and metaphors. These type of things will be used in the interactive part of the hypnosis session. Let your mind be creative and optimize your results!

First Time Clients
$165 (1.5 hours) for first time clients. This will also include a recorded audio CD of our private session so you can use at home for continued progress.
Cancelation & Rescheduling
You must notify me within 48 hours of scheduled appointment to reschedule. A $25.00 fee may apply for rescheduling, as others could have used this time slot. If you fail to arrive for an in-person session you have the option to reschedule however you will be charged in full for the initial appointment.

$125 (1 hour) for clients needing a follow up session. We will continue to work on the previous issue we discussed.The best results occur when appointments are consistently scheduled and regularly attended.
